1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and NextG Ventures LLC, doing business as Praxium Academy ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the praxiumacademy.com website and our educational platform (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing the Platform, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Platform and must discontinue use immediately.
2. User Accounts and Security
To access certain features of the Platform, including course materials and student portals, you may be required to register for an account.
- AYou agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.
- BYou are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.
- CAccount sharing is strictly prohibited. You may not share your login credentials with any other individual. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of unauthorized sharing.
- DAge requirement. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data where you live (for example, 16 in some EU countries), to create an account. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform, including making purchases, only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Platform is not intended for children under 13: if we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will close it and delete their personal data.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise indicated, the Platform and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Platform (collectively, the "Content") and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein (the "Marks") are owned or controlled by NextG Ventures LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
Educational License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Platform and view the course materials strictly for your personal, non-commercial, educational use.
Restrictions
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, reverse-engineer, or otherwise exploit our Content for any commercial purpose without our express written permission.
4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Activities
You may not access or use the Platform for any purpose other than that for which we make the Platform available. As a user of the Platform, you agree not to:
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Platform.
- Systematically retrieve data or other content from the Platform to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory without written permission from us.
- Upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, or other malicious code that interferes with the platform's performance or any party's uninterrupted use and enjoyment of the Platform.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of the Platform.
- Use the Platform as part of any effort to compete with us or otherwise use the Content for any revenue-generating endeavor or commercial enterprise.
5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
All purchases made through the Platform are processed securely via our third-party payment processors.
Pricing
Prices for courses or certifications are subject to change, but changes will not affect past purchases.
Access
Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the applicable course materials via your student dashboard.
Refunds
Please refer to our Refund Policy for details. If an account is terminated due to a Terms violation, no refund will be issued.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Educational Purposes Only
Praxium Academy provides technical education and resources. While we strive to provide high-quality, industry-relevant training, we do not guarantee employment, job placement, or specific career outcomes as a result of completing our courses.
"As-Is" Platform
The Platform is provided on an AS-IS and AS-AVAILABLE basis. You agree that your use of the Platform and our services will be at your sole risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Platform and your use thereof.
Limitation of Liability
In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from your use of the Platform.
7. Platform Management and Termination
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to:
- Monitor the Platform for violations of these Terms.
- Take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates the law or these Terms.
- In our sole discretion and without notice or liability, refuse, restrict access to, or disable (to the extent technologically feasible) your account or any portion thereof for any breach of these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Platform are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to the Platform shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
